Founded in 1937 by Paramahansa Yogananda, author of "Autobiography of a Yogi," this spiritual retreat sits on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The beautifully landscaped meditation gardens offer a peaceful sanctuary for visitors of all faiths.
Visitor Experience
The meditation gardens are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM. Visitors can explore the peaceful grounds, meditate in designated areas, enjoy ocean views from the bluff, and visit the gift shop featuring spiritual books and items. The gardens are free to visit, though donations are welcomed.
